Nadine Lehrer is working with the Pest Management Transition Project (PMTP) in Wenatchee to 1) assess and document the impacts of grower education programs on the phase-out of Azinphos-methyl (Guthion) in apple production; 2) evaluate and increase the knowledge and involvement of farm labor in transitioning to alternate pest control; and 3) understand and involve environmental groups in working towards a more environmentally and socially sustainable apple industry.  For more information please see http://pmtp.wsu.edu/.
