AFHVS Graduate Student Paper Award
Congratulations to Dr. Nadine Lehrer, who received one of two Graduate Student Paper Awards given by the Agriculture, Food and Human Values Society (AFHVS). Her paper, “(Bio)Fueling Farm Policy: The Ethanol Boom and the 2008 Farm Bill,” was presented at the annual joint AFHVS/ASFS (Association for Study of Food and Society) meetings, which were held June 4 – 7, 2008 in New Orleans. Dr. Lehrer is currently working on the Pest Management Transition Project in Wenatchee.
