Rural Sociological Society Juried Paper Award
Dr. Jessica Crowe, recent Ph.D. graduate in the department of sociology, and Dr. Jessica Goldberger, assistant professor of community and rural sociology, have been awarded one of two Juried Paper Awards given this year by the Rural Sociological Society (RSS) for their paper on “University-Industry Relations in Colleges of Agriculture and Life Sciences: The Role of Women Faculty.” The paper will be presented by Dr. Crowe at the RSS Annual Meeting, which will be held from July 28-31 in Manchester, New Hampshire. The RSS Juried Paper Award is designed to honor high quality research presented at the Society’s national meetings.
