Lecture: TuTh 10:25 - 11:50

Room: Sloan 9

The general objective of this class is to provide students with a basic understanding and appreciation of the structure of several human civilizations and how those structures are a product of unique histories, social structures and ideologies. Furthermore, it is expected that students will develop a rudimentary knowledge of how the process of social change in civilizations other than their own are relevant to their own lives. Students in this section of GenEd 111 will be expected to develop critical thinking skills and to provide input into the structure and direction of the course.
